Normal, orice contact între cele doua lumi este imposibil de realizat. Totusi, demonii pot patrunde în Assiah posedând oamenii. Satan, zeul demonilor, nu poate poseda nicio substanta de pe Pamânt din cauza puterii sale enorme si, cu acest scop îl creaza pe fiul sau, Rin. Va fi fiul sau, Rin, de acord cu planurile sale, sau se va împotrivi si va deveni altceva, ca, de exemplu… un exorcist?
